Simple as it may seem, writing these reflections does not come naturally for me. Everything month, when I sit down BY EMMA DRIBAN, Editor to write, I struggle to come up with the message I want to convey.
I wonder who actually reads to this very past page, what I want them to get from my ruminations on each issue, and what might make the best use of this page.
As this is the Giving Back issue, I want to express my gratitude to all you readers who enjoy this magazine, whether you read cover to cover or just pick up pieces here and there.
Many of you know, or should know if this isn’t your first issue of Jewish Living Delaware, that we just conducted a reader survey. We appreciate your thoughtful feedback and, from many of you, your compliments. Like JLD Advisory Committee Co-Chair Susan Towers said to the group in a recent committee meeting, Jewish Living Delaware aims to be the connective tissue of this community. We are here to serve you, keep you connected, and share stories we think will mean something to you.
Whether you call us Jewish Living Delaware, jVOICE, or the Jewish Voice, we are proud to serve as a constant vehicle of community news, interesting information, and—hopefully—a bit of joy to anyone who picks up a copy of our publication. We thank you for your unwavering support as we have evolved over the years and, still now, continue to grow. Please, let us know what you want to see in 2025 and on. As always, we strive to improve JLD to better suit the community’s needs and interests.
ON TO BIGGER & BETTER.
